WHO WE ARE
Ebbstone Asset Managers was formed in 2018 by Neil Jackson and Andrew Glencross who have a combined 50+ years’ experience in the Asset Management & Property Investment industry.
Andrew Glencross
Andrew Glencross has a BTech Real Estate degree, a National Diploma in Property Valuation, and a National Diploma in Property Practice (all from the University of South Africa). He completed the Property Development Programme at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and is a Registered Property Valuer with the SA Institute of Valuers and the SA Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
Andrew has 25 years’ experience in real estate investments, asset management, developments and property finance at a senior executive and board level. He was previously a Director (Commercial) of Rebosis Property Fund (R21 billion in assets) and a member of its Executive Committee, and his last role was that of heading up commercial disposals. Prior to that he was a fully retained property consultant for Bravura Capital and listed Mainland Real Estate Limited on the JSE and the Stock Exchange of Mauritius in his capacity as CIO and then latterly interim CEO. Mainland concentrated on multi-let industrial assets in the UK and Europe.
He was head of asset management for Texton Property Fund Ltd, a listed property fund with a R5 billion portfolio in SA and the UK. Prior to this he was for eight years a director and shareholder of Equity Estates (Pty) Ltd, a specialist commercial office developer and investor, where he managed its R1,4 billion property portfolio that was sold to Growthpoint. He was also actively involved in the development of Menlyn Maine during his tenure at Equity Estates.
Andrew was a General Manager at Standard Bank and Absa’s property finance division (12 years), including three years at Absa London heading up the bank’s offshore property division. Before that he was a property valuer at CB Richard Ellis for six years.
Natasha Coetzee
Natasha is head of property management for EAM and has more than 24 years’ property management and operational experience in managing properties for JSE listed and unlisted clients in the property sector. She started her career at JHI and prior to joining EAM, was the General Manager responsible for Asset and property management of a R5.5bn property portfolio owned by Texton (JSE listed).

Neil Jackson
Neil Jackson, Property Development and Investment (UCT), is highly respected within the South African real estate sector. He joined JHI Real Estate in 1990 and ended his career there as a senior executive in 2003. He spent 13 years working in various roles throughout the organisation, including:

● Key Account Management
After leaving JHI, Neil started the Alan Grant Holdings Group and is currently the CEO based in Johannesburg. The company specialises in commercial and residential real estate development with a current portfolio of assets valued at approximately R100 million. He has developed and owned assets from office parks, industrial factories and midi factory parks to retail interests and residential housing developments. Included in Neil’s broader business is Jackson’s Real Food Market, which is a small family-run business showcasing local farmers and producers.
Andile Mazwai – Founder & CEO iKhala:

Former CEO of Barnard Jacobs Mellet, an Independent Brokerage Firm with trading desks in Johannesburg, London and New York.
